About

Join the Dance is a mixture of photos, poems and prose poetry inviting you: to walk, to wander, to wonder. To notice and pay attention. To laugh in astonishment and delight. To revel. To join the dance.

I’ve created the material here in response to the invitation I’ve heard, felt and seen – the invitation from the natural world to notice, to say thank you, to express wonder… and to pass it on.

The ‘join the dance’ reference is inspired at least in part from the Lewis Carroll refrain from Alice (it’s the Lobster Quadrille):

Will you, won’t you, will you, won’t you, will you join the dance?

Will you, won’t you, will you, won’t you, won’t you join the dance?

If you like the photographs here you can buy copies (post cards, gift cards, prints and so on) from my Redbubble shop – just click on the photos below and you’ll get there.
